Our tankless water heaters do not hold any hot water. By turning on the faucet, the cold water flows through the flow sensor and will turn on the burner. The minimum flow rate to do this is 0.75 gpm, with a flow rate of 0.6 pgm required to maintain the burners. The cold water will be heated up to 176 degrees farenheit.

How hot is the water from the Takagi tankless water heater?
The Takagi tankless water heater has a computer-controlled system, which will provide a preset output temperature of 140 degrees farenheit for the T-M1 and 120 degrees farenheit for all other models. You can set 4 different temperatures with the dipswitches for certain models. With the remote control, you can choose a wider temperature range.
How much hot water can I have?
The Takagi tankless water heater output temperature is set by the factory to either 120 or 140 degrees farenheit. Depending on the model, the maximum output flow rate is as high as 9.6 gallons per minute.
